I've uploaded that picture already a few months ago, but when I was "cleaning up" my gallery I accidently deleted it. So here it is again...
That was part of a birthday present for my sister. Since she has to eclectus parrots, charly the female and felix the male bird, I wanted to draw her and the two parrots in manga style.
I had to use reference pics for the parrots, I found them somewhere on DA...and I had a reference pic for the girl.
Materials:
Faber Castel Polychromos (colored pencils), Copic multiliner for outlines and a white gel pen for highlights.
The picture has the size of A3 and I worked on it for 2 or 3 weeks, at least an hour a day (coloring that huge fomat with pencils was a bad idea
)
